The cluster collection was directly inspired by a drawing completed during Inktober 2023. This pattern, constructed with groups of repeating lines, was so versatile that it quickly became a collection.

In this body of work, I explore the concept of cyclical thinking, a process that reflects the interconnectedness of ideas, experiences, and emotions. This exploration is manifested through intricate line work patterns that evoke a sense of continuity and rhythm, mirroring the ebb and flow of thoughts as they spiral and intertwine.

The use of line as a primary element serves as both a visual depiction of and a metaphor for the cycles inherent in our lives. The patterns I create invite viewers to navigate their own pathways through the work, encouraging introspection and contemplation.

Just as our experiences are woven together, so too are the lines—each intersection representing a moment of convergence, a point where ideas collide and transform. My hope is that viewers find themselves drawn into the patterns, losing themselves in the rhythms while gaining clarity on their own cycles of thought and experience.
