Inktober is a daily drawing challenge created by artist, Jake Parker, to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawings habits. A prompt is provided for each day in the month of October, to inspire your daily drawing. Since its creation in 2009, this challenge has grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge each year.

In 2023, I followed the Inktober prompt list by artist, Sha’an d’Anthes, also known as Furry Little Peach online.

As a wink to Picasso’s blue period, I used blue ink as a continuous color palette. Utilizing abstract motifs and patterns to interpret the prompts.
